Nice little hotel, quaint, a bit old fashion. Only big down side for me is lack of space.. can't open my big suitcase. Otherwise great all around. Friendly staff

Le Relais du Louvre is a small boutique hotel that is absolutely perfect. From making an online reservation through to check-out, it doesn't get any better than this. The staff is warm and welcoming, yet very professional. If you have a question, need a suggestion or directions, they are very helpful. Even faced with an unexpected power outage (there is construction in the street and someone hit something that they shouldn't), they reacted quickly and made sure that all guests were comfortable. The power was out a little longer than anticipated but everyone rolled with the punches and had fun with it. Breakfast is ample and of excellent quality. It is a continental breakfast on steroids. You can even add eggs to your order to make it a hot breakfast. And they bring it to you room! This hotel is perfectly located with multiple metro stops within a few minutes, the Louvre is just 5 minutes away, numerous wonderful restaurants at various price points are all around the hotel, and if you walk 3 minutes away, you're at the Seine. There is an elevator that, while small, is large enough to hold several guests or you and all of your luggage. The rooms are well appointed, very attractive and are immaculate. The quality of the linens is excellent. I've seen other reviews that comment that the rooms are small and the bathrooms are smaller. I am a very plus-sized woman and my room was more than what I needed. The bathroom was fine - I had no issues with it. And my bathroom was spotless each and every day during my 10 day stay. You might think that the shower is too small, but it worked fine for me (again, I am not small). There are plenty of hangers, there is an electric kettle and supplies for that extra cup of coffee or tea and there is a safe in the closet. Rooms have air conditioning and heating and both are very effective. I have stayed at other hotels in Paris, some much more expensive, and once I found Le Relais du Louvre, there is no other hotel for me. I have stayed multiple times and give the hotel and their staff a hundred stars and a million thanks for making my most recent stay (10days in December 2018) absolutely perfect. Thank you everyone. I can't wait to return!

The staff was wonderful. The room while small was good for 3 for a short stay. I would recommend the hotel add a dresser instead of the desk. Bathroom was large with a great shower. The location was ideal. Close to everything. The staff was top notch. Very welcoming and helpful.

For the price we paid, we could have stayed in one of the numerous "chain" hotels in the city...Yet we decided to go for this charming and ever so cosy traditional privately held hotel located literally at the back of the Louvre museum and we clearly did NOT regret it! It is so nice to see that some hotels remain independent and unique, surviving the usual sterile chain hotels that often offer the same thing wherever you go. Here no groups or loud neighbours to deal with. Just utmost quietness and tranquillity. Stepping into this hotel gives you the impression you have escaped from the hustle of the city in a matter of seconds. At first you think "We must be in a typical English cottage" as the rooms are nicely decorated with flowered wallpaper and old style lamps. Our room was very cosy and you could literally curl up in the bed and feel away from everything. In the morning our breakfast was delivered in the room (as it is for all guests in this property) with delicious croissants, local yoghurts, ham, cheese, tea, coffee, and freshly squeezed orange juice. How could you start your day in a better way? Honestly there is absolutely nothing to complain about this hotel. We had a fantastic night, away from everything, and were taken care of in a very professional, genuine and warm way. As hotel professionals, we know that life as an independent hotelier can be tough so let us just tell the owners / managers to keep on doing such an excellent job. Their little "hôtel particulier" made us feel extremely comfortable and is an example to follow... We will be back !

Merci.

The 1 (4 min), 7 (5min) and 4 (10 min) trains and many bus routes near by. Next to a gorgeous church and across the street from the Louvre. Close to shopping and restaurants. The breakfast was great and so was the service. Cozy hotel with nicely designed rooms

The only reason I have four stars for room comfort was that myself and my party found the room too hot. The radiator in the bathroom caused this and although we turned it down it didn’t appear to make any difference. This caused a bad night sleep. Also the pillows were not very comfortable. Other than this it was a fantastic hotel.

We came for one night for a pre-Christmas shopping trip. This is the best located hotel I've stayed in, in Paris. It is so easy to go anywhere. The room was larger than we expected (there were 3 of us) and we even had our own courtyard. The staff were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Only small issue was the extractor fan in the bathroom didn't seem to work but other than that we loved it and will definitely be coming back.

Everything was perfect! If my budget is ok, I hope to stay here during whole days next time!! Great location ,lovely clean room and super kind staff!

This relatively small hotel is excellently located for visiting Paris, the best location I could imagine. The team is highly professional, polite, reliable, kind and efficient. Room service is impeccable, and the breakfast, conveniently served in the room, is quite satisfactory, healthy and tasteful. While one must admit that the room is not very spacious, by Paris standards it is OK (and I had some past experiences in the matter). The overall atmosphere at the hotel is warm and familial. I can warmly reccomend it without hesitation. It goes without saying that I myself would happily stay there again during my next visit in Paris.

Incomparable location and yet wonderfully peaceful/quiet. Service is universally personable and professional.

We rented a room here because of its proximity to the Louvre and other attractions such as the Cathedral of Notre Dame. It worked perfectly.

We loved our stay at Le Relais du Louvre! The location was ideal; it was tucked into a quiet side street next to a beautiful church and across the street from the Louvre. We had quick and easy access to cafes, shops, and buses to all attractions, while enjoying quiet nights. Our room was beautifully decorated and the bathroom was immaculate (model-home quality). We appreciated the towel warmer, hair dryer, and separate toilet room. We loved having air conditioning and very comfortable beds. The staff was courteous and went out of their way to help us when my daughter sprained her ankle on our first day in Paris! They provided a medical-grade ice pack for her and were so kind about having fresh ice available for her morning and evening. The breakfast was a lovely sampling of French specialties. We felt at home while we stayed at Le Relais du Louvre and would highly recommend it to anyone.

We specifically asked for a view of the Louvre, instead we got a view on the church. Also, on the first night we had a lamp with a usb plug and the next day the lamp was changed. Not acceptable. The room was extremely small and somehow we had to step quite high to get in the shower. For the price, it’s not that amazing. The only good thing was the staff and the location.

This was a great little hotel and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were about the size you’d expect in the heart of Paris. I would definitely stay here again.

Excelente hotel em Paris. Localização perfeita. Próximo a duas estações de metrô. Perto de locais turísticos muito visitados. Louvre, Notre Dame, D’Orsay. Perto de varios restaurantes, padarias, cafés e mercados. Staff muito atencioso e solicito. Hotel pequeno mas aconchegante e muito bem cuidado. Camas excelentes. Enfim um local perfeito para minha primeira visita a está cidade encantadora.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Le Relais du Louvre! It is a small yet intimate boutique hotel with modern amenities steps from the Louvre, the Seine, transportation, shops and restaurants and a short walk from many other sites. The staff is warm and friendly and very accommodating. When our excursion to Versailles was cancelled due to a labor strike, Madame Sophie quickly helped us with new arrangements. We highly recommend the breakfast. We thought we would only have the breakfast our first morning in Paris but ended up ordering it almost every morning our our 5 night stay. It was so wonderful and a great value! It fueled us well into the afternoon. We hope to return to Paris someday soon and would happily stay here again.

Lovely small Parisian Hotel, very near Louvre, Notre Dame, Tuilleries. Extremely clean, well appointed, friendly, courteous staff, Would definitely stay here again. Also most helpful in booking a guide for a tour of the Louvre who was amazing!

Great Location, friendly atmosphere.

This hotel is a perfect spot stay while in Paris. It is conveniently located in the 1st Arr. and close to the Metro and all the sites. What makes this hotel particularly outstanding is the front desk, housekeeping and other staff. They are friendly, helpful and the front desk staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome. I was traveling alone. The rooms are standard for a Paris hotel, small, but exceedingly comfortable with all the amenities of a larger chain. The breakfast was outstanding and brought tony room at the exact time it was requested. Along with all the positives, it is reasonably priced and within a block of the Seine and the Louvre. Relais du Louvre is a must stay accommodation.
