Daroco, the best trattoria in Paris, a 10-minute walk from the Relais du Louvre

« Back

Here's a beautiful address which lovers of decoration and also the the Italian versus trattoria cuisine will appreciate. Open since mid-April under the former flagship of Jean-Paul Gautier, this is the place of which all the trendy Parisians speak right now.

We'll start with the faults: the place is crowded and noisy. We advise you to book around noon, and in all cases at the beginning of service. That said, let's move onto good points: It's beautiful and it's delicious!

The Daroco one of those places where the decor definitely works. Directed by architects Olivier Delannoy & Francesca Errico, everything has been designed and polished. Since a picture is worth 1000 words, judge yourselves the rooms:

As for the menu, it is also a good point that I will talk about.

Antipasti from 10 to 17 €, with an excellent burrata, but also among other langoustine tartare, foie gras ice cream, shiso, 17 € (it makes you want to come back)

  • First course from 15 to 34 €. I opted without disappointment for the Linguine all'Amatriciana at 17€. The lobster risotto was to taste (34€)
  • Second course with pollack, peperonata, mussels (26,00€) and a saddle of lamb, Romanesco, Bronte pistachio (28,00€)
  • Desserts are at 9€ with a remarkable tiramisu
  • Wine is served in a glass ranging from 6 to 12€.

The meal cost 44€.

Napoli Pizza - Tomato sauce, anchovies, olives taggiasche, capers, basil 16€50
Linguine all’Amatriciana 17€00
Burrata, eggplant caviar, balsamic 12€00
Tiramisu 9€00

A creative menu with products of excellent quality and, of course, a production house. It is not cheap but in the end, the prices are related to product quality and the exceptional place.

To find and follow.
